Tokyo is an amazing city full of liveliness and some extremely interesting stuff to check out. In fact, there are so many different things to see in Tokyo that travelers may have a difficult time choosing what exactly they should go see. For those of you who are in that boat, the following places should be put at the top of your sightseeing in Tokyo list; they are the kinds of places that make the city very worth vacationing in to experience something very unlike what we are used to. 

 

Tokyo Tower - Offering an amazing view, visitors can take an elevator to the top of the Tokyo Tower and get access to some of the most amazing panoramic views in the world. Whether you go night or day, Tokyo Tower is truly an amazing experience.

 

Meiji Jingu - Any visitor to Japan should take time to visit a Shinto shrine and Meiji Jingu is one of the most popular in the country. Brimming with an Eastern ambiance that can only be found in Asia, this is a wonderfully historic location.

 

NHK Studios Tour - Visit the largest public television and radio broadcaster in Japan and watch productions from behind the scenes. Full of neat things to see and do, NHK Studios provides guests with one of the best tours around. 

 

Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden - Japanese culture is extremely renowned for its jaw-dropping gardens and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is one of the biggest and best in the country. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon among an impeccably tended grounds and partake in afternoon tea in the shade.

 

Tsukiji Market - This bustling market is tough to get into and you have to arrive extremely early to reserve a spot but its energy and tradition are worth getting there by 4:30 am to enjoy the tour. Tsukiji Market opens at 9 am to the public, and visiting it during its hours of operation is also quite a vibrant experience.
