Rajasthan, the royal state of India is well known for its royal culture, heritage forts and monuments worldwide. Due to its unique culture, traditions and of course fairs and festivals, the state attracts a large number of tourists from all the corners of the globe during festivals. Pushkar Fair: This fair is the largest cattle fair in the world, and is celebrated in the Pushkar city. Pushkar Fair held every year in November for five days. The center of the attraction in this festival is the ship of the desert, and other highlights are acrobats, folk dances, snake charmers, puppeteers, etc.,. The outstanding light and sound show on the sand dunes captivate the hearts of the visitors.

Mewar Festival: Also known as the Maand festival and mainly dedicated to the music and dance, and is one of the eclectic annual festivals of Rajasthan. This festival is celebrated in March / April in Udaipur for welcoming the arrival of spring season. Dance and music, colorful fireworks, concerts, folk dances, crafts, shows, exhibitions, delicious foods, etc., are some main highlights of the festival.

Apart from these fairs and festivals, Urs. Ajmer Sharif, Nagaur Fair, Camel Festival Bikaner, Gangaur Festival, Kali Teez festival, Teez festival, etc are other popular festivals of Rajasthan. In addition, the major fairs and festivals of Hindus such as Holi, Diwali, Raksha Bandhan and Dussehra are also celebrated in the state with full enjoyment.
