UK to Get 4G Phones

It seems like the wait has taken forever, but 4G phones are finally going to get released in the United Kingdom. However, details are unclear as to whether they will be getting a 4G iPhone, which many in the country have been waiting quite patiently for.

 

BRITISH mobile phone users will soon be able to use fourth generation mobile broadband, also known as 4G. EE (formerly Everything Everywhere, the owners of Orange and T-Mobile) announced the launch of their superfast mobile service at an event at London’s Science Museum today. The company says that by Christmas 40 per cent of the UK population will be covered by 4G.

London mayor Boris Johnson said: "I barely understand it, but information will spout unstoppably from these gizmos. It will bring huge advantages to anyone living or working in London." Continue Reading
