If you are looking for some unique way to get involved, give back to the Boston community or simply meet other young professionals (ages 21 to 40), the United Way Emerging Leaders event is one to attend.

Thursday, September 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. is your chance to mingle with other do-gooders at the Liberty Hotel in Boston and learn about future volunteer opportunities coming up this year to benefit United Way.

The Liberty Hotel is located at 215 Charles Street in Boston. The event will be held in The Yard (weather permitting) or The Catwalk. Suggested donation is $20 at the door to benefit Youth Venture, United Way’s social entrepreneurship program that inspires and invests in youth, between the ages of 12-20, and helps them launch small business ideas to create lasting positive change in their communities.

All attendees will also be entered to win two tickets to the Emerging Leader’s annual fundraising gala to be held on May 18, 2013.
