 The problem is that there is a lot of companies that don't have their own plane but have employees that do and would rather use their own plane instead of commercial or be a road warrior but companies don't allow it. There is a strong prejudice against private aviation. Companies that have you even drive your own vehicle requires you to provide proof of insurance and license but even if you provide the same for GA it's still a no go. Even though it would be a great benefit for companies they arrogantly think it's more dangerous than other travel and never see out not only could it benefit the company but how it could benefit their own employee in time savings. Flying over LA with Air traffic control or driving through LA on your own, which do you think is more dangerous? Even AOPA falls extremely short in advocating for pilot rights in the work place for travel. I don't see anyone or any organization fighting for those rights.
