I would also highly recommend Reyes Ortiz's taxi service. I had Reyes and his friend Adrian take me to and from the Leon Airport to San Miguel De Allende in December 2009. The return trip was at 3:45 a.m., and they were on time at our pickup point in San Miguel. They both speak very good english, and are happy and energetic people.
Later in the week, I had Reyes take my wife/kids/sister-in-law and her kids from San Miguel De Allende to the Mexico City airport in his Suburban. My wife said that Reyes told some very entertaining stories about San Miguel, which helped make the 3 hour ride to Mexico City pass by quickly. He drives very safely and responsibly. Enclosed below is a picture of Reyes with his Mexico City passengers.
