Douglas Lotz is the Founder of CycleCast, a mobile fitness app that makes studio-quality indoor cycling more accessible than ever by streaming hit music and motivational instructors to your iPhone. Douglas has a strong professional background in project and product management. With proven leadership experience across multiple industries, including fashion retail, aerospace, enterprise software, and consumer software, he has demonstrated an ability to adapt to new challenges and provide creative solutions to a wide variety of business problems. Douglas was inspired to start CycleCast after his favorite indoor cycling class was discontinued at his local gym. Unable to find another suitable class that fit his schedule and budget, he turned to digital solutions and quickly found that there was nothing available on his iPhone that offered the blend of hit music and motivational instruction he had come to expect from a quality cycling class. Douglas founded CycleCast in December, 2014 with the goal of taking indoor cycling beyond the studio to make fun, motivating fitness more affordable and convenient. Douglas graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in History and International Relations.
