Elena Garcia 

Elena Garcia is a Spanish fashion designer and entrepeneur based in London, UK. She trained in Textiles and Fshion at the prestigious London College of Fashion and started her first label with friend Ilya Fisher. The label, Fisher-Garcia produced highly crafted womenswear garments using eco-friendly fabrics and processes. Fisher-Garcia dissolved in April 2008 and Elena has set up her own label, Elena Garcia Eco-Couture, www.elenagarciastudio.com

Elena is currently working on her third collection has received critical acclaim from the likes of Suzy Menkes and Hilary Alexander, two of the best known international fashion writers. She is now represented by 3 showrooms in the US, one of them has recently opened in Hollywood, and is looking to expand her accounts worldwide.

Elena is passionate about Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility and runs her label according to these principles. She is also keen to tackle the landfill and waste issues with her project www.sewlastseason.com a label that promotes upcycling.
