Kristin's background in fashion started when she worked as a fashion model in the early 2000′s. She worked with various photographers, make up artists and stylists. A few years later, she left the industry to finish a bachelor's degree in Literature.
Kristin's marketing journey began when she was the head of marketing and public relations for a law firm in New Jersey. After approximately a year, she had enough of office politics and took the risk of launching Marquet Media LLC. Her clientele expanded rapidly, and the company evolved into a full-service public relations and marketing firm that specializes in the fashion, beauty, and accessory industries.
A fashion editor, Kristin has written for CoutureintheCity.com, Stylecaster.com, and Stylemom.com. She has also contributed to Business Week, Small Business CEO, the Business Insider, and Enterprising Woman magazines. As an expert, Kristin has also been featured in American Express Small Business magazine, The Insider News, PRCouture.com and has been quoted on Entrepreneur.com and BrandMakerNews.com.
Kristin is also pursuing a master's degree in marketing and public relations from New York University.
