We already reported that Madonna is the halftime entertainment for Super Bowl XLVI coming up on February 5, 2012, and now it is has been announced by Celebuzz that Kelly Clarkson will sing the National Anthem to kick off the game. The former American Idol winner will have big shoes to fill, as previous performers include Jennifer Hudson, the Dixie Chicks, Whitney Houston, and who could forget last's year lyrics blunder by Christina Aguilera.
