The acting world was hit with a great loss as American actor, James Gandolfini died in Rome, Italy yesterday from a heart attack. Gandolfini starred in over 50 films winning 16 awards including three Emmy awards, five Screen Actors Guild awards, and a Golden Globe while having 26 nominations. The actor was scheduled to make an appearance at the Taormina Film Fest in Sicily, Italy on June 22 to receive the Price City Taormina and preside over a Tao Class for film students. Known most notably for his roles in HBO’s The Sopranos, the New Jersey actor was one of the sharpest men in Hollywood, almost never seen out of a suit and a shy smile.
