Recently there’s been a huge influx of celebrity progenies making their way into the fashion industry through real talent (or pure nepotism), but this next up-and-comer may just have what it takes to make a name for herself. Granddaughter of beloved fashion icon and humanitarian Audrey Hepburn, Emma Ferrer, has just signed up with Storm Model Management. Making a break into the industry back in September with a cover of Harper’s Bazaar (not too shabby for a first gig), the 20-year old has some awfully big shoes to fill. Signing with the same agency that represents Cara Delevingne, Behati Prinsloo, Jourdan Dunn, Kate Moss, Lindsey Wixson and Liu Wen, however, gives her a pretty decent shot.

The student-turned-model will be continuing her attendance at the Florence Academy of Art through their Jersey City satellite location. In the meantime though it seems she’ll be looking for a few more magazine covers to add to her resume, and she’s eager to carve out a place for herself in the world—one that honors, but doesn’t replicate, that of her famous grandmother. "What can be bothersome and confusing is when people are disappointed to see I'm not her carbon copy, nor would I want to be," Ferrer told the Telegraph. "I want to be a person that she would be proud of, and I hope she would be proud because of who I am."
