Considering an Unplugged Wedding? Here's How to Know What's Right for Your Nuptials

If you’ve been planning your wedding day since you were old enough to dress your Barbie dolls in bridal gowns, you might think you have this whole nuptials thing totally figured out. You know the flavor of your cake, the color of your flowers and the exact shade of white for your gown. (You may not even have a groom yet—no judgements!) But there are a few more decisions we have to make concerning our weddings than our mothers may have had to make in a pre-internet age. Most notably if one should have a social media friendly or totally unplugged wedding. Do you want your friends and family watching you through their phones as they record you taking your first steps down the aisle or would you rather have an intimate, tech-free zone? Personally I couldn’t quit social media cold turkey for a day and I wouldn’t expect my guests too either. But each bride-to-be needs to make the decision that’s right for her. Thankfully the guys over at Peter Edwards Photography put together a nifty little infographic that highlights the good, the bad and the ugly of holding a social media friendly or unplugged wedding.
