Could Karlie Kloss' New YouTube Channel Turn Her Into a Superstar?

If you’re anything like us chances are you spend your mornings and evenings scrolling through your Instagram feed to see what your favorite celebs have been up to. Well last night everyone spotted something a little different on supermodel Karlie Kloss’ account. It looks like she just dropped a promo video for a new YouTube Channel. This is serious, guys.

The supermodel has been walking runways since she was scouted at 14 and since then has modeled for almost every major designer, signed contracts with L’Oreal, Nike and Victoria’s Secret, created her own line of vegan cookies in conjunction with NYC’s popular Milk Bar, founded a coding scholarship, and just got accepted to NYU. "Modeling has kept me very busy, but it's not my sole focus," she explains in the video.

The full promotional video can be found on her brand new YouTube channel, Klossy (which already has 42,000 subscribers), where she talks about all the stuff she plans to bring to her fans, including behind-the-scenes video clip, personal backstage shots, and little snippets from her personal life—including that road trip she took with bestie Taylor Swift. It’s basically going to give us a one-of-a-kind look at the world of modeling and fashion that only the biggest models in the world get to see.

Of course, there’s also a good chance that this will skyrocket Kloss’ career to Cara Delevingne-like proportions. Kloss currently has three million followers on Instagram out of 300 million active users, but on YouTube, where active users average over one billion, she has the opportunity to turn herself into a household name. While she posts almost daily on Instagram there’s no word yet on how often we’ll get new videos from the runway star.
