In the past month, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, and Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy (it can’t be true!) have all called it quits. Is there no romance left? Actually, there are a few rays of hope during such dark times. Some of our favorite celebrity couples have been able to hold onto that crazy little thing called love, despite all the media speculation and rumors suggesting otherwise. Seriously how many times have Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux been reportedly over? And those two crazy kids just got married this week! It just goes to show that sometimes love can conquer all. Or at the very least the tabloid magazines. Here are our favorite couples that have stayed together through thick, thin and breakup gossip.

Why can’t the paparazzi leave poor Jennifer Aniston be? She’s been dumped by beau Justin Theroux as many times as she’s been pregnant—exactly zero. As far as we know the couple has always been happy and both parties seem endlessly in love, but maybe Jen’s famous breakup with Brad Pitt left her looking like an easy target. (The divorce was a decade ago, guys. Get over it.) In fact Justin and Jen just tied the knot in a private ceremony at their home in Bel Air. Take that, tabloids!
Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith
It’s hard being the Fresh Prince. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been married for almost 20 years and have two pretty awesome kids. The only problem is the rumor mill is reporting on their divorce constantly. It happens so often that even friends and family have had to come to the couple’s aid. Their daughter Willow Smith tweeted about the latest divorce rumors (which started circulating again this week) saying, “The media thinks my parents are getting divorced like every second hahaha!” At least the family has a sense of humor about the whole thing.
Beyoncé & Jay Z
They’re separated! No, they’re getting a divorce! No, they’re having a baby! No, they’re both cheaters! Sheesh. We get it—everyone wants to know everything about Beyonce’s personal life, but just grasping for straws willy-nilly is not the way to do it. These two always seem to be totally in love, so what gives? Every other month the couple is splitting up or getting a billion dollar divorce. We’ll just say we’ll believe it when we see it. And even then we might not believe it.
Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi
These two have been at the focus of media scrutiny for years. Since they wed in 2008, rumors have been constantly flying that they’re getting a divorce due to fights over everything from scheduling conflicts to starting a family. "There doesn't even need to be a [thick] skin, 'cause it's not real. I'm just more flabbergasted by the fact that someone needs to make up a story," DeGeneres said on Today’s show earlier this year. "There's never been a point where we were breaking up or divorcing or fighting. None of these stories are even remotely true."
Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie
Maybe it was the way they got together or the fact that their engagement dragged on for years, but this couple cannot seem to escape talk about their supposed break ups. After a decade together they finally wed in a secret ceremony at their home in France last year, but that hasn’t seemed to stop the rumor mill. They’ve reportedly called it quits too many times to count, and any time we hear that they’re on their way to splitsville we just roll our eyes and give a little nod. Sure, they are.

Unfortunately, Taylor gets the short end of the stick when it comes to rumors about her relationships, because sooner or later, they all turn out to be true. But when you’re 25 and just enjoying your youth no one really expects you to stay in one relationship forever. (Come on, did anyone seriously think that Taylor & Taylor (Lautner) relationship was going to last?) And it’s not really like she needs a man anyway—she’s got herself a great pack of supermodel gal pals.
