Most people have a favorite celeb or Hollywood A-lister that they admire and support. In the JustLuxe offices, we’re big fans of Ryan Gosling and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and we’ve been known to get into debates about which one is the bigger beefcake. Of course, we can’t prove which is hotter, so Vulture did us one better and put together a list of the most valuable celebs. Using “domestic and foreign box-office numbers, critical love, social-media chatter, Twitter mentions, Oscar success, and likability ratings” the publication was able to complete a statistical ranking system to give us 2015’s 100 Most Valuable Stars. Unfortunately, neither Gosling nor Gordon-Levitt are in the top 10—Gosling hit number 40, up 31 spots from last year and Gordon-Levitt moved up five to number 61.
Our girl Jennifer Lawrence tops the list for the second year in a row, holding the position due to her high box office ratings and likability from studio execs who gave her a 10/10. Robert Downey Jr. is holding on in second place, and Leonardo DiCaprio is staying steady at third. Bradley Cooper came in fourth this year, up six places from 2014 and Dwayne Johnson hit fifth, up a whopping 24 places from last year. Despite his lower likability score, Tom Cruise rose 13 places to number six, while Hugh Jackman rose seven spots to place seventh. Sandra Bullock dropped four slots to number eight, and Channing Tatum finally made top ten this year jumping from 11 to nine. Scarlett Johansson rounds out the top ten by jumping 21 spots due to her work on the Avengers franchise and her high likeability.
