Luxury Wines: World's Greatest Wines.com presents a trove of information on wines that is sure to enlighten new wine lovers, connoisseurs, and sommeliers alike. The cyber wine merchant bares its wares from various perspectives in an attempt to leave no one out on the vine. Wines are presented by price to show great tasting wine is priceless, and that taste and price are not always synonymous terms. Wines are presented by region to show that great wines come from many parts of the world, such as Australia, California, Canada, France, Greece, Italy, and New Zealand.

Wines are offered by varietals to show the primary grape from which specific types of wine are made. World's Greatest Wines.com also presents 29 brands to offer variety. So, beyond selling wines, the company is attempting to present some of the ins and outs not commonly known. There is a glossary filled to the brim with a lexicon of wine-specific words and terms. All wines offered by WGW contain a wine profile that includes vintage, wine type, varietals, appellation, harvest date, sugar, acid and PH level, fermentation period, bottling date, and alcohol percentage. All wines sold are reviewed as well.

The firm's Web site lists the popular wines of the week. Currently Southern Greece's Boutari Nemea 2004, which sells for $12.99 per bottle, and Australia's Two Hands Wines Max's Garden 2005 at $60.99 per bottle are among the top five sellers. Equal emphasis is place on a wine selling for under $20 per bottle, such as Hanna Chardonnay, as there is placed on Gaja Barbaresco, which lists at around $169 per bottle.

World's Greatest Wines.com is a practical, procedural methodology to garner information regarding wine. It is a way to define that delicate balance of structure, fullness and richness that enables the novice wine lover to the aficionado to determine what makes any wine truly special to them.
