 Food & Spirits: World famous London luxury depot Harrods has come out with the ultimate holiday hamper, brimming with caviar, stilton, smoked salmon and a selection of premium spirits. Only eight of the extravagant Chairman's Choice hampers are available by special order at about $7,500 apiece. Harrods food and wine experts selected the worlds best comestibles to satisfy even the most jaded gourmet, and they describe it as nothing short of the best hamper money can buy.
Presented in an exclusively designed, limited edition handmade basket with leather trim, the hampers indulgent contents includes a precious 30-year-old Macallan single malt from famed Scotch merchant Douglas Laing, Krug champagne, Hennessy cognac, and several bottles of wine including the storied Chau d'Yquem for the dessert course. On the food front, theres a side of farmed smoked salmon, a truffle ham, half a Stilton, rich Brie de Meaux, and of course Beluga caviar.
The million square foot store, located in Knightsbridge, is the largest and one of the most luxurious in the world. It holds several royal warrants from the likes of the Queen, the Queen Mother and the Prince of Wales.
