Food & Spirits: Champagne Ruinart, founded in 1729, may be widely lauded not only as the oldest but also one of the most prestigious champagne houses in the world - but that doesn't mean they haven't got a playful side as well. In celebration of Valentine's Day, Ruinart, part of LVMH's luxury empire, will offer an indulgent and frolicsome special edition duo gift box set called "My Sweeter Half" designed to encourage romantic rendezvous.
Presented in a stylish parcel, the duo gift box features two half bottles of Champagne Ruinart's premium cuvès: Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, made in the pure and noble Ruinart tradition exclusively from the Chardonnay grape; and Ruinart Rosè with its fresh, distinctive, rose petal pink color. The gift box, priced at $85, comes complete with two special Ruinart champagne flutes complementing the 18th-century style bottles, making for a truly presentation.
