 Flavored vodka is as common as orange juice but flavored whiskey? Seasoned whiskey drinkers may be sucking in a gasp of disbelief ... after all, isn't the whole point to take pleasure in the unique distilling and aging methods intermingling with the tried-and-true ingredients that make whiskey, well, whiskey?

Phillips-Union, a blended, premium, small batch, whiskey, comes infused with vanilla and cherry flavors, taking some of "bite" out of the strong spirit. Think about it?you'd pay $12 for a Manhattan at a bar, while the bartender pours in cheap maraschino cherry juice. Why not add a high-quality cherry flavor like natural Royal Ann cherry flavor before the bottle even hits a bar's inventory? Now they're thinking.
