 Luxury Fashion Events: The 2007 Couture Fashion Week will be held this year February 9-11 in NYC at the extraordinary Waldorf-Astoria. Additionally, the fete of fashion will also extend itself to Palm Beach, Florida, February 14-15. However, the site of the show is not stated on the sponsor's website. The Bridal Fashion Week also is part of the Couture Fashion Week show.
The event, which is produced by USA International Fashion Shows and the Fashion Syndicate Press, ranks highly as one of the most prestigious upscale events of the year that is open to both industry insiders and the general public. The sponsors claim that it is the only NYC fashion extravaganza where items can be bought directly off the runway.
Jamil Khansa, Anna Osmushkina, Payal  Jain, Josef Klir, Lourdes Libman and Jorge Isaac are just a few of the acclaimed international designers represented during Couture Fashion Week. One- and three-day tickets are offered at three levels: standing ($100 to $250), general seating ($300 to $700) and VIP seating ($500 to $1,200). Tickets can be purchased online.
Since 1997, the USA International Fashion Shows has sponsored upscale shows for luxury fashion and related items, such as the Champagne Fashion Brunch and the Martini Fashion Dinner. Also, a fundraising collaboration with The International Alliance for Human Rights (IAFHR) themed Voices of Hope: Sowing the Seeds of Peace, Understanding and Tolerance will occur May 30, 2007, at New York's Radio City Music Hall. The concert will feature internationally renowned stars from the world of opera and classical music. Its purpose is to help charities aiding the people of Darfur, Africa.
