For this new collection, Creative Director Frida Giannini has drawn upon the company's incomparable luggage-making expertise, yet has updated it for the requirements of today's busy travelers.
Crafted from a resistant, high-tech resin, this innovative line is the ultimate in stylish practicality. The Gucci Viaggio collection, which includes sleek, semi-hard case trolleys, garment bags and briefcases, offers the perfect solution to modern travel needs: light, yet sturdy luggage that imparts an urban elegance. Each piece is characterized by clean lines, while classic Gucci details render the design's individuality.
A round rubber GG plaque, one of the brand's iconic symbols, is applied onto the luggage top surface, while the signature logo is subtly utilized on the trolley wheels. Together with the black coated canvas, this new collection will be offered as a full-scale GG logo print featuring the famous "GG" sign which was born as the abbreviation for Guccio Guccio, the Company's founder, who began his business in Florence in 1921.

"When you're on the go, you want luggage that works flawlessly, but that also looks stylish and chic. I think this collection uniquely accomplishes both of those tasks," says Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini.
Gucci Viaggio offers a multitude of options to suit each and every travel need. Three different sizes of trolleys are available together with smaller carry-on bags which can be conveniently stacked on top of the suitcases. Garment bags, briefcases and backpacks are also available, as well as document cases and computer holders. The suitcases feature firm pop-out handles for ease in transport and include well-organized internal compartments with stretch linings. The surfaces of these sturdy semi-rigid pieces are coated in a protective glaze that is available in a chic plain black, as well as in the double GG printed canvas. As with all exceptionally crafted accessories at Gucci, each piece in the Gucci Viaggio collection is entirely Made in Italy, a renown guarantee both of timeless style and high quality celebrating the core values that have come to distinguish the brand throughout the years.
