 Men’s Luxury Sportswear: Porsche Design announced that its Porsche Design Sport Spring/Summer 2010 Collection is coming this January. The seventh release of this engineered-luxury sportswear line, which is a team effort between Porsche Design and Adidas, consists of footwear and sportswear fitting for golfers, runners, tennis players, and water- and snow-related sports enthusiasts.
Two-time America's Cup winner and Olympic gold medalist Jochen Schümann, and his team, played a major role in the development of the AC Bowman sailing shoes. The luxury-sailing shoes provide sure-footed traction on decks as well as on dance floors. The shoes absorb shocks well and feature a quick drying mesh upper to complement a rubber outsole.
For sportswear at sea, the Spray Light Top looks great while battling the Great Outdoors with wind and waterproof GORE-TEX® Paclite® Shell. It provides ultimate protection while being lightweight and easy to stow. The collection also features rugged and attractive multipurpose travel bags.
In the running and fitness category, Porsche and Adidas present the Bounce:S², an award-winning fitness and running shoe is making its second run in the collection. Its predecessor, the Bounce S, was introduced in the 2008 collection. Time magazine cited the high-tech running shoes as one of the Best 50 Inventions of the Year. The highly regarded shoes also won the Plus X Award 2008 as well as Germany’s Red Dot Design Award for innovative design.
Porsche Design’s product line includes men's accessories, a sports/fashion collection, as well as electronic products and men's fragrances. The products are designed in the Porsche Design Studio, in Zell am See, Austria, and sold worldwide in own stores, shop-in-shop setups, and at high-end department stores and retailers.
