Another Game of Thrones Star Lands a Major Fall Fashion Campaign with Karen Millen

BY : Marissa Stempien | 2014

Fashion seems to have a soft spot for Game of Thrones. We’re pretty sure it has nothing to do with the impending winter, dragons or the amount of people losing their heads in Westeros, and everything to do with the ridiculously gorgeous...

Naja Lingerie Wants Women to Feel Beautiful Inside and Out

We love lingerie. Well, strike that; we like the way it looks on Angels when they’re running around in big windswept corridors or posing on silky boudoir pillows—mostly because we hope that when we put on a pair of those panties...

Cire Trudon and laContrie Join Together To Create The Limited-Edition Carousel Carrier

Own It
BY : Marissa Stempien | 2014

We love a good candle holder—um, bag—carrier, thing. Titles aside, we adore anything that’s small, multifunctional and will match our shoes. Luxury candle makers Cire Trudon joined with French leather experts laContrie, and have just launched a new fashion/home decor collaboration. For the premiere of a new scent, the brands have come together to create a cylindrical, leather handbag that fits perfectly around the new candle. The hand-crafted satchel will house Madeleine, a fragranced candle inspired by the cavalier and fencer with notes of iris, jasmine, rose and leather.

Establish in 1643, Cire Trudon has been the first name in French candles for centuries. Once gracing the halls of Versailles and later entering the imperial court under Napoleon, the brand now lights the homes and boudoirs of the well-polished. The brand has collaborated with French designers during every new fragrance release, and this month sees Madeleine launched in conjunction with laContrie’s Carousel bag. Inspired by vintage camera lens holders (which conveniently are the same shape as a candle), the bag can be used for traveling with any of your Cire Trudon candles or swapped out to carry your phone and a lipstick. Très chic!

The Carousel bag is available exclusively at Colette and is available in other colors on request.
