With Cannes coming to a close over the weekend it was almost hard to let go of the never-ending parade of gowns, tuxes and party frocks—but at least it went out with a bang. Dressed to the nines, some of these women totally knocked Blake Lively off the best-dressed spot she held for the first few days of the event. Uma Thurman absolutely brought it in Marchesa and even Kristen Stewart rocked Chanel pantsuits in a way that was uniquely glamorous; she even cracked a rare smile—maybe because she knew how great she looked? Black and white were a continuous trend into the weekend, broken up by Araya Hargate’s pale blue Zac Posen ball gown and Thurman’s bold, yellow Versace. The winner of the weekend was clearly Thurman’s white, satin Marchesa gown with an embroidered aves motif and sheer back.
