There is just no stopping Madonna. The 56-year old pop star has just been named the new face of Versace, and—let’s just honest here—she looks amazingly hot for pushing 60. Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in New York, the black and white campaign images capture the intensity and sexual aggression of the singer who appears in the Spring 2015 collection. First posing for Versace in 1995, this is now Madonna’s fourth campaign for the Italian brand, and we have a feeling it won’t be her last. “Madonna says it best herself: She is unapologetic,” Donatella Versace told the New York Times. “She is her own woman, a role model who shows other women how we can do what we want, and get what we want, and do so for all of our lives, with no compromise.”
Showing off tight arms and rock-hard abs that would put a Victoria’s Secret model to shame, Madonna poses in a selection of cutout pieces taken from the Spring 2015 line, including a leather dress and sparkling skirt and crop-top set. "It’s always exciting to be dressed head to toe in Versace and experience first-hand Donatella’s vivid imagination and passion that she has created for this collection," she said in a press release. The 12-page campaign will be released next spring in global publications including Vanity Fair and the American, French and Italian editions of Vogue. With rumors that her new album will also be released next year, her recent Interview cover and this new Versace announcement, it looks like 2015 is coming up Madge.
