Escada Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

Fashion & Style: International luxury fashion house, Escada, recently introduced its latest collection for Spring/Summer 2010, inspired by the famous resort area of Ipanema.

With a luxurious, legendary beach location for inspiration, Escada looks are peppered with the colors of the Brazilian flag. Standouts include the free flowing bright green dresses that stole the show to the pale yellow bikini accented by geometric kimono-style print cover-up.

In addition to Brazilian colors, black and spring’s neutral trend also made several appearances, including a beige-toned safari-style suit.

Many pieces were accessorized by bold, geometric jewelry. Geometric shapes showed up not only as accessories, but as belts as well, as seen in several prints. Bold necklaces, nearly breastplates were also on several looks.

Off the runway, looks are made wearable by minimizing jewelry and the addition of a black and white pair of sunglasses, which fit into some of the animal prints seen in the collection.

Legendary fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh shot the campaign for the Spring/Summer Collection, which was modeled by Eva Herzigova.
