Not feeling the retro vibe this autumn? Opt for the boyfriend jean in a cropped length, and preferable distressed. These look great with giant heels/booties, a feminine blousy top and fitted jacket. Denim is not just for jeans anymore. Denim jackets are back and super modern this time with a fitted cut and subtle embellishments. The details and wash on Current Elliot's snap jacket make it the perfect pick to throw on over any outfit — EXCEPT more denim. When rocking the jean jacket, make sure it is the only piece of denim you have on.

The chambray shirt is another great option. Lighter weight than denim, it's a perfect layering piece for the cooler months ahead.
