Alvi Armani was founded in 1999 by award-winning surgeon, Dr. Antonio A. Armani. The company has expanded to include consultation offices in major centers of Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Additionally, there are clinics in Toronto, Dubai, and Beverly Hills. The organization is dedicated to providing the most leading-edge scientific research combined with an artistic approach that is unparalleled in the industry. Hair transplants have endured a history of suspect practitioners and invasive procedures that have produced unsatisfactory results, extended healing times, scarring, and a reputation that has been ridiculed and feared. But that reality is changing at lightning speed due to the innovations of Dr. Armani and his team.

The doctor has dedicated his life to an industry in need of serious advancements. He is committed to providing men and women a non-surgical approach with unmatched creative sensibilities and remarkably undetectable results.

The era of the Italian Renaissance and the life of Leonardo Da Vinci, have strongly influenced Alvi Armani's philosophy of integrating artistry with scientific excellence. The brilliant artist and inventor sketched a famous drawing based on the teachings of ancient Roman architect, Marcus Vitruvius Pollio. It is well known today as The Vitruvian Man.

Marcus Vitruvius Pollio, the first Roman architect, penned the famous literary piece, De Archetura, which was dedicated to the Emperor Augustus. In the book he is famous for stating that a structure must possess firmitas, utilitas, venustas-which means that it must be strong, utilitarian, and aesthetically pleasing. Marcus Vitruvius saw architecture as an extension of nature and compared the houses that humans built for habitation as a parallel to the nests or dens of animals in the natural world. All who shared the earth took from nature to build shelter.

His understanding of structure and proportion led to his study of what he considered the greatest work of art: the human body. He determined the ideals of male body proportion, which Da Vinci later developed into one of the world's most famous sketches. It stands today as a guide map of the ideal male body proportion.

Marcus Viruvius Pollio's observations of the ideal man included:

- The length of a man's outspread arms is equal to his height.
-The roots of the hair to the bottom of the chin are one-tenth of a man's height.
-The bottom of the chin to the top of the head is one-eighth of his height.
-The mid-chest to the top of the head is one-fourth of a man's height.
-The greatest width of the shoulders is equal to one-fourth a man's height.
-The elbow to the tip of the hand is one-fifth of a man's height.
-The elbow to the angle of the armpit is one-eighth of a man's height.
- The whole hand will be one-tenth of his height.
-The distance from the bottom of the chin to the nose is one-third the length of the face.

The Vitruvian Method

Dr. Armani credits the Italian Renaissance for its guidance in developing a leading edge hair transplant procedure, known as The Vitruvian Method, which is responsible for the meteoric rise of his company on a global scale. The award-winning surgeon travels extensively to personally oversee and train a team of surgeons in his three clinics. The proprietary technique focuses on natural hairlines, maximum density, and strategic placement.

A common occurrence with mainstream practitioners is to place each follicular unit at the same forty-five degree angle, allowing light to shine through and accentuate an artificial appearance. Alvi Armani ensures that ffollicular units intersect each other at slightly varying angles. The patient's ethnic origin can help determine the natural angle variations. Both Asian and African hair are angled slightly more perpendicular to the skin and thus appears to stand away from the scalp, while Caucasian hair tends to lie relatively flat. Duplicating the natural angle variations and distance of each follicle in an intersecting pattern results in maximum density and forms a tight meshwork. The light is blocked and an undetectable result is achieved.

The ability to mimic natural hair density has been made possible thanks to a trademarked tool personally designed by Dr. Antonio Armani. The tool is formed at one end to the exact size of a single follicle. This enables Alvi Armani practitioners to closely pack large numbers of follicular to achieve a natural density of 80- 120 per cm/2, especially at the hairline, which is the most noticeable section of the scalp.

The importance of ongoing scientific research, as well as the development of technological innovations, is paramount to the Alvi Armani team, but the company's dedication to providing the foremost creative design options and personalized approach is at the root of its success story. Each patient's facial characteristics are studied and then an outline is planned to best accentuate their unique features. The artistry involved does not simply provide a new attractive head of hair. It also frames the entire face for an exceptional new look for each patient.

Maximus-FUE

The Vitruvian Method encompasses an advanced donor hair-extraction technique known as Maximus-FUE. Large numbers of follicular units (up to 3,000) can now be swiftly and delicately removed from the scalp in a single session. Although the high degree of difficulty demands the most skilled hands, the need for conventional surgery has been eliminated from the extraction process. Healing time is kept to a minimum, and it is virtually pain-free. No traditional surgical implements are required. Alvi Armani's proprietary scientific technology has reinvented Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and achieved a new level of excellence that cannot be duplicated.

The most common hair transplant practice today is called Follicular Unit Strip Surgery (FUSS) and requires invasive surgery to remove a rectangular strip of skin from the back of the head in order to harvest donor follicles. It can result in severe swelling, lengthy healing times, and discomfort. The end result also leaves a permanent scar on the back of the scalp, so the opportunity to shave one's head completely is usually avoided.

Maximus-FUE allows for the removal of individual follicular units, and there is no scarring! There is absolutely no reason to endure the discomfort and invasiveness of FUSS with the advanced technology used by Alvi Armani.

The company has been steadily attracting VIPs and discerning gentlemen and ladies worldwide. It is the objective of the entire Alvi Armani team to strive for perfection and to continue to deliver undetectable hair transplants that exceed clients' expectations. That promise, along with a dedicated staff, will guide you through the entire process, and ensure that your experience with Alvi Armani is truly life altering.
