It seems people just can’t get enough of Glee. Familiar faces from the hit TV show are everywhere we turn, from awards shows, to magazine editorials — and now one is even a spokesperson for a top luxury cosmetics brand. It was announced last week that Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry for the series, is the newest face for L’Oréal, following in the footsteps of other iconic beauties like Beyonce, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez, and Gwen Stefani.

And the actress isn’t wasting any time getting started on her $1 million deal with the French brand. If you were one of the many people wondering where the star was for the Emmys last Sunday, you may be interested to know that she skipped the most important awards show for television stars to participate in her first shoot for the beauty giant. But from the looks of it, it seems like it was worth it for the actress who didn’t receive a nomination at this year’s awards. The star looked absolutely stunning in her first shots for the beauty brand.

Michele, a self-proclaimed L’Oréal consumer herself, is pleasantly surprised to be given the honor of appearing in ads for the beauty giant. “Growing up I was never really considered the typical beauty," she told WWD, "So the fact that I’m now the face of such an incredible company and brand is so awesome.” The 26-year-old actress is of Spanish and Italian descent, and thinks that her roots will help connect the brand with users around the globe. “I think I have a type of look that is very relatable, that’s different and unique that girls can look at and say ‘I feel like I look like her,’” she said.
