The Krug ensemble consists of a trunk, an ice bucket and three bottles Krug Grande Cuvee champagne. However, the removable trunk lid does have dual functionality. It also can be used as a table. Additionally, the trunk lid can be custom monogrammed to add a personal touch. "Handle with Extreme Care" might be a wise monogram aimed at baggage personnel to ensure that it maintains its stately appearance.
The well-crafted traveling case has a vivid red calfskin interior, and there are numerous storage compartments to hold goodies. The trunk is very durable. Its corners are corrosion-proof, and the hinges and handles are "built to last." The accompanying ice bucket is an original design by the acclaimed  designer Francois Bauchet. Among Mr. Bauchet's numerous accolades, he was named Creator of the Year 2000 at the Paris Furniture Salon. Bauchet also teaches at the School of Fine Arts in Saint Etienne.
