Chilling with the Perlick Clear Ice Maker

Luxury Home Appliances: Parties can melt down pretty fast when there is no more ice left. It is one of those miscellaneous details that sometimes slips through the cracks and sends hosts of parties scampering and scurrying to keep the party cool. The Perlick Clear Ice Maker keeps things "ice." The 15-inch-wide machine generates up to 50 pounds of crystal-clear ice in a day, and it can store up to 30 pounds of ice. The dapper, top-hat-like shape of a Perlick-generated ice cube keeps the cubes from sticking and clumping together.

The Perlick Clear Ice Maker's approximate size is 33.5 inches tall, 15 inches wide, and 22.5 inches deep. For decorum, an optional wood overlay door kit is available to match other cabinetry. The machine comes with a stainless-steel door and a polished handle. Built-in models are galvanized. The Perlick is also UL-approved for use outdoors.

Perlick has an arsenal of outdoor-party wares guaranteed to enliven the fete. Other Perlick "pearls" include a beer dispenser, a blender station, a cocktail center, a freezer, and a set of refrigerated drawers. Additionally, there are liquor shelves, various wine-storage and refrigeration units.

It may be best to have the Perlick Clear Ice Maker installed permanently, because a mobile unit may be invited to more parties than its owners. Ice, ice, baby!
