Luxury Accessories: Wondering if you still have that bottle of 1994 Chateau D'Yquem or 2003 Clarendon Hills Astralis Shiraz... or need to restock your collection of $40 entertaining wines? If you're still consulting a handwritten cellar journal or Excel spreadsheet, you are way behind the times. Now you can manage your entire collection of fine wines with the touch of a button. eSommelier Wine Management Server is an all-in-one hardware and software system collectors can use to search their wine cellar from anywhere in their home or abroad.
Perfect for wine collections over 1,000, eSommelier comes with the names, backgrounds and characteristics of 150,000 wines on its hard drive. All you have to do is select the country, region, variety, winery and vintage from the database, then record how many bottles are in your cellar. Wines not in the database can be added by typing in the information, along with any personal wine ratings and tasting notes. The eSommelier costs $5,000 (optional bar code scanner is an extra $1,000).
