Isaac Mizrahi Reintroduces Luxury Jewelry to Brand

Luxury designer Isaac Mizrahi has dabbled in the fine jewelry sector of the fashion industry before, but after selling his self-titled label to Xcel Brands, Inc., in 2011, we've seen mostly beauty and garment items that have launched at Bloomingdale's and Nordstom bearing his name. But that's all about to change, as Xcel has just signed an exclusive agreement with Clover Corp. to produce and distribute a high-end jewelry collection under Mizrahi's name. Platinum and 18-kt gold-plated sterling silver pieces with diamonds and colored gemstones will drop in the fall, and will range in price from $200 to $1,500.

Michael Kors Introduces New Watches to Help Fight Hunger

The luxury fashion world is notorious for being tied to charities, non-profit organizations, and the overall mission to help those in need. Luxury designer Michael Kors is doing his part by launching an exclusive long-term partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme, which aims to help solve the international hunger crisis. Kors' involvement will produce two new unisex watches— a $295 smaller model and a $325 larger version— that will allow for 100 children to be fed through WFP for each watch that is sold. Additionally, Kors plans to raise millions for the organization by launching a series of campaigns and events, as well as a text-to-donate program.
