All branded diamonds by Polar Bear are 100% Canadian in origin from the diamond mine located in the Northwest Territories (NWT) and through the cutting and polishing process in it's advanced diamond cutting facilities. In 1999 the Polar Bear Diamond was the first branded diamond to be produced in Canada. Each diamond is identifiable by the image of a polar bear laser inscribed on the girdle. The colourful streams of light that appear at night in the far northern sky, inspired the creation of the Northern Lights Diamonds. The dispersion of light within eighty-nine exquisitely polished facets surrounding a prominent eight-sided crown is a display truly celebrated.
