Luxury costume jewelry brand CA&LOU Jewellery is the collaboration between friends Carolina Neri and Bérengère Lux, who strive to provide a collection that encompasses handcrafted excellence with the ideal of elegance. The brand launched in 2010 after both women spent years working in the fashion sector for various world-class companies in Italy and abroad. The friends-turned-entrepreneurial powerhouse are experiencing success through their contemporary jewelry line, and both women manage to continue to freelance in strategic and design contexts for major brands and magazines. However, CA&LOU is a product of their hearts and souls, and their Fall 2012 Collection proves it.
Every piece by CA&LOU is designed by Carolina and Bérengère, representing the pillars that the brand is built on. With lines and graphics that hint to ‘80s glamour and Art Deco, CA&LOU has a vintage flair, to say the least. The bulk of CA&LOU’s collection is made with silver and bronze materials dipped in 24K rose or yellow gold, then enhanced with Swarovski crystals, enamels and semiprecious stones. One of our favorites is the Grace Bracelet, which comes in brass silver, yellow gold, or rose gold, and is plated with Swarovski crystals.
