Let’s be honest—is anyone really going to take note of this Calvin Klein campaign after Justin Bieber has been flashing his pecks and low-riding panties all over the internet? Not likely. But we want to call attention to it just the same. The latest CK spot stars models Anna Jagodzinska and Tyson Ballou in a dreamy video that features the brand’s Alliance watch and jewelry collection. The images and accompanying 30-second slot were shot in New York City and photographed by Karim Sadli.
Much like Bieber’s interactive campaign where CK fans can post images of themselves in their jeans and/or underwear with #mycalvins (though we very much doubt they’ll have that same Biebes appeal), the newest campaign will be launching #ckminute. Through social media fans can share personal stories or photos of their own CK pieces. It may not be as flashy (read: naked) as their last adverts, but it’s surprisingly romantic, and offers a much needed break from their latest headline-grabbing shenanigans.
