Breitling has a reputation for building badass watches and the new Avenger Bandit may just blow all of the others out of the water. Designed to be more a extreme edition of its predecessor, the Breitling Avenger, the latest timepiece is housed within a large, 45 mm titanium case fortified by lateral reinforcements. To minimize glare in “the heat of action” (or a brightly lit boardroom), the bezel is finished in tone-on-tone brushed steel and the dial is housed within glare-proof sapphire crystal.

On the back of the watch face users won’t find any frilly skeletal mechanics—instead a conversion scale of basic imperial to metric measurements will be engraved into the titanium case. For use in any situation, the crown and push pieces are covered in a non-slip grip, and the bezel is engraved with easy-to-view stencil-type numbers. The rubber strap is texturized with tread on the wrist side and covered with an anthracite high-tech Military textile fiber exterior secured with a titanium clasp.

The brawny exterior houses the self-winding Breitling Caliber 13 movement, officially chronometer-certified by the COSC. Outfitted with a fourth-of-a-second chronograph and 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers, this timepiece is nothing to mess with.
