Barbierattoo is an entirely unique barbershop-tattoo-parlor-combo started by Venetian father and son team Don Luciano and Tony Barbierato. After honing their own talents in Mexico and the United States, respectively, they came together to form their own salon in Guadalajara, Mexico. Styled after classic forties barbershops, they opened a place where they could practice their crafts and men could gather with a shared passion for grooming and body art. Offering the very basics like tattoos, haircuts, piercings and shaves, the shop caters specifically to the most fashionable of men's grooming needs.
Recently rebranded by Memela, Barbierattoo is taking on a new identity of high-fashion beauty and art, and using their new look to reach out to customers and fans. “The logo shows simplified services, complemented by original typeface specially made for our client. The cut mold stationery is shown in the abstract form of a razor,” says the creative team at Memla. And the new look truly embodies the vibe of the barbershop—hoping to cater to both gentlemen and rockin’ hipsters alike. Just one glance at their Facebook page is enough to tell you that beauty—both high-class and rough-and-tumble manliness—is part of their culture. And it sort of begs the question—how long until we get one stateside?
