 Luxury Events: From July 6 to July 8, 2007, in conjunction with the Montreal Musician and Musical Instrument Show (MMMIS) and the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, The First Montreal Guitar Show will offer fine guitar aficionados the opportunity to attend the largest guitar show in Canada. This extraordinary event is dedicated exclusively to hand-crafted guitars, made individually by fine artisans, and will feature 70 exhibitors representing the most talented and prestigious luthiers from around the world.
Not only will show attendees be able to see, touch and try out instruments from such master luthiers as Mario Beauregard, Bill Comins, Rick Davis, Sergei de Jonge, Oskar Graf, and Ervin Somogyi, but should they fall in love with an instrument, they can purchase it right at the show. In addition, a variety of activities geared toward guitar lovers will be available, including private studios optimized for trying out instruments, a series of meeting sessions, and free workshops on guitar playing and the luthier's art of crafting a guitar.
