Upscale Appliances: Miele's refrigeration products are the coolest refrigeration products in this year's marketplace, being the recipient of the Professional Builder's 100 Best Products award in the refrigeration category for its Independence Series line.
Each year the Professional Builder's 100 Best Products Award recognizes the most noteworthy new products launched. The editors' choices are based on technological advancement, significant product improvement, new product line introduction and increasing the competition of a product line are criteria used by the editors of Professional Builder's prestigious award.
The estimated retail price of an Independent Series 30-inch bottom mount combination refrigerator and freezer with stainless steel door panels is $7,495, according to the manufacturer. Energy Star, the joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, states the unit uses 33-percent less energy than the federal minimum standards. It is both eco-friendly and stylish.
