 News & Trends: After a rocky year, Britney Spears is back with a new luxury scent, Hidden Fantasy.
Due out in January of next year, the fragrance will arrive just a month after Britney's comeback album, aptly titled Circus.
Said to be making its debut on December 2, the new fragrance will be Britney's lucky number seven, after "Curious", "Fantasy", "In Control", "Midnight Fantasy", "Curious heart", and "Believe".
Presented by Elizabeth Arden, perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux explains the back story of Britney's latest fragrance venture, "The original inspiration for this fragrance comes from Britney's love for white florals, vanilla, and luscious desserts. Drawing from a cherished memory of my own, I built this fragrance with a heart of sensual jasmine and sweet Napolitano cake."
The sweet scent is said to still retain the fruitiness of Britney's previous scents, but with a more grown-up vibe stemming from the primary notes of sour cherry and vanilla and accented by hints of orange and clove.

The grown-up appeal is in the description "seductive scent that is all about expressing the many mysterious sides of a woman." Indeed, with two children, the young pop star is coming up on her 27th birthday and the days of being a teen sensation are long past.
As the newest addition to her Fantasy fragrance collection, the perfume is bottled in the same rounded bottle as previous perfumes: Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy, but in a shade of red that reflects the sensual spirit of the scent.
Fans of Britney's past scents will appreciate the new addition to the collection.
