 News & Trends: Twilight star Kristen Stewart may not be a style icon in real life, but apparently she plays one on-screen, thanks to the help of the film’s wardrobe stylist.
Remember the scene where Kristen’s character Bella is wandering lovesick through the forest wearing a utilitarian-style jacket? Well so do tons of other Twilight fans. So many in fact, that the company that makes the jacket, BB Dakota, is putting out a whole line based on Bella’s style.
The jacket that started it all is very reasonably priced at $70 and features many roomy pockets and even a hood. The offspring of the latest Twilight phenomenon will be a fall and spring collection from the sensible and stylish brand. The line offers a casual and a glammed up version. The casual line features skinny cords, plaid shirts, and hoodies, while the more glamorous version is comprised of mini dresses, strappy heels, and Bliss-Lau-designed leather bags.
The new BB Dakota line is set to be available online at BB Dakota, as well as high-end ecommerce sites Shopbop and Revolve.
