Luxury cars are a pretty good way to make a statement if you’re a high-powered celebrity, but some famous faces find that staying on land just isn’t impressive enough and have therefore taken to the skies in their own private jets. I’m sure they also have their fair share of fancy cars but nothing quite beats air travel, especially when it comes to freeway traffic. According to Madam Noire, Tom Cruise took his role in Top Gun pretty seriously and has bought himself various planes through the years, including a P-51 Mustang. Oprah has a Bombardier Global Express jet that she apparently describes as being one of her most prized possessions. When you have to do as many public appearances as she does, I’m not surprised. Clint Eastwood has been a licensed pilot for over 30 years, and has said that one of his favorite hobbies is flying helicopters, which is a little disconcerting considering the man is 82-years-old. Harrison Ford is not only a flier but has actually saved people while flying. Back in 2000, the actor rescued an ill hiker in Idaho while cruising along in his helicopter, proving that his Indiana Jones tendencies are strong within him.
