Contemporary Artist Hunt Slonem on Tour

Arts & Culture: The vibrant and colorful artwork of Hunt Slonem has a way of lighting up walls and making people smile in galleries worldwide. His works cover a wide range of subjects ranging from tropical birds to exotic animals to movie stars of Hollywood’s Silent Picture Era, such as Rudolph Valentino and Gloria Swanson.

Paintings by Hunt Slonem have permanent addresses in various high profile art galleries, such as the Marlborough Gallery and the Stewart and Stewart gallery.

Slonem’s works will be displayed at the Museo de Arte San Salvador, the DTR Modern, in Palm Beach, Fla., and Boston, Mass., respectively. There are more than a dozen shows planned for 2010 and 2011.

“The Art and Homes of Hunt Slonem” and “An Art Rich and Strange” are two coffee-table books that catalog his works and provide insight as to the inspirations from within the multitalented artist.
