The 2007 Lexus LS 460 and 460 L are the most powerful models released (at least until next year). It is the first luxury sedan series to offer an eight-speed, sequential-shift automatic transmission. The rear-wheel drive Lexus LS accelerates from zero to 60 mph in a very impressive 5.4 seconds with its 380 horsepower, 4.6-liter V8 engine. The vehicles' estimated fuel economy of 19 mpg for city driving and 27 mpg on highways also is quite noteworthy.
Since the arrival of the plush, luxurious Lexus LS series, these vehicles have racked up awards and accolades from the auto industry plus  heaps of praise from its joyous core of owners. Each year the Lexus LS series draws from its predecessors established standards of excellence and makes improvements and upgrades.
