The Lamborghini Stable

Automobiles: Sports car enthusiasts around the world have benefited greatly by the competitive fires between Ferruccio Lamborghini and Enzo Ferrari. Mr. Lamborghini's resolve to build an automobile better than Ferrari's was the genesis of the Automobil Ferruccio Lamborghini, which began in May 1963. It is likely to prompt a feud on the level of the Hatfield and Mc Coys between Lamborghini and Ferrari owners if one (fool) were to proclaim either manufacturer better than the other. The passion would definitely hit the fan. Many men see both cars as two of the world's greatest natural male enhancers.

Any official ultimate fantasy sports cars league would welcome any Lamborghini into its fold. Public sightings of these exotic cars are as rare as legitimate UFO reports. More than 50 Lamborghini models have been introduced?such as the 350 GTV and the Cala?since day one May 1963. The Lamborghini plant is just outside of Bologna in Sant'Agata Bolognese.

Did you know that Mr. Lamborghini owned and operated a very successful tractor company before entering the premium sports car business? Here is closer look at the three Gallardos and the pair of Murciélago LP640s.

Gallardo

The Gallardo is the first Lamborghini to bust out of the gate. The aluminum body and frame in this 10-cylinder embodiment of elegance and speed is perfectly complemented by a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed sequential automatic transmission. Its smooth handling stems from an aluminum front and rear double-wishbone suspension that is augmented by power-assisted rack and pinion steering. The Gallardo goes from zero to 60 mph in less than four seconds; the car's top speed is 194 mph.

Gallardo Spyder

Arguably, Lamborghinis are the quintessential fantasy sports cars. This wedge of wonderment is a slice of life in the fast lane with a top speed of 195 mph?which is where sans roof may make a slight difference. A fully powered soft top and a retractable rear window come up when the sun goes down.

Gallardo Superleggera

It is quicker and faster than the other Gallardos. However, one-tenth of a second and one mph are not deal breakers. The sparse interior design of the Gallardos is stylish and contributive to the car's performance. The mid engine fits perfectly into the vehicle's design and appearance ... especially from an overhead point of view.

Murciélago LP640

Originally designed in 2002 by Luc Donckerwolke to replace the legendary Diablo, the LP640 is a two-door coupe with 640 horsepower at 8,000 RPM. It is powered by a V-12 mid engine with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed manual with automatic shifting. The all-wheel-drive land rocket is a production car that goes from zero to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 211 mph. However, fuel efficiency is 9 miles per gallon in the city and 13 mpg on freeways. The body of the Murciélago LP640 is made from the synthesis of sheet steel and honeycombed fiber. The electronically controlled damper coupled with powered rack-and-pinion steering improves the vehicle's stability and handling. There also is an LP640 Roadster.

Murciélago LP640 Roadster

The convertible adds another sweet nougat to this Lamborghini's rich cachet of comforts and joys. When looking at a car with a top speed of 211 mph, the optional ceramic carbon brakes with six-piston-brake calipers for better braking is a good buy. Yes, indeed.
