Infiniti G37 Coupe: Redefine Greatness

Luxury Autos: Since it debuted in 2003, both owners and critics alike have loved the Infiniti G35 Coupe. The classic, yet modern design, powerful performance and elegant features along with a very moderate price tag created the luxurious appeal that is the G35 Coupe. This year marks a new generation for the new car dynasty with the introduction of the all-new G37 Coupe. The all-new G37 Coupe is a restyled version based upon the G35 Coupe. Everything that has been part of the luxurious G35 Coupe is now part of the G37 Coupe, only improved. But how do you improve upon greatness? You redefine it.

Performance
The key to any sports car is performance and Infiniti knows this well. The G37 Coupe is equipped with a 3.7 liter, V-6 engine churning out a mind-numbing 330hp; which is more than enough power to stay within the legal speed limit and a few extra ponies for those other occasions. And because of its awesome power under the hood, the Infiniti designers thought it fitting to include massive 14-inch rotors and 4-piston front brakes.

But performance is more than just power and speed and so is the G37. Thanks to the 4-wheel active steer system, the G37 Coupe is able to put all that power to use. The handling is designed to give the driver absolute control and feel a complete road-to-driver connection, making taking corners all the more fun and the 330hp doesn't hurt either.

Design
A central theme of the luxury car market is design. After all, the first thing you notice is how a car looks. If it is a flat boxy car with no color scheme, it wouldn't matter if it could fly to the moon and had a diamond encrusted engine, because no one would even bother to look at it. At Infiniti, they always strive to get those oh so important looks just right. The G37 Coupe is, of course, no exception; if anything it is the standard. Because of the overwhelming success with the G35, the Infiniti design team had a real challenge to out-do themselves. Luckily, they did. The sleek curves and wide muscular panels are the signature of the G37 Coupe. A long, modeled hood, and short, wide tail give a timeless elegance to the exterior features. Rich leathers and brushed aluminum finishes create a luxurious atmosphere in the cabin. Sport designed 12-way adjustable seats embrace the driver. Along with the traditional amenities are some new technology-based features, including a state-of-the-art navigation system with an in-dash display screen and a very helpful rearview monitor that makes backing up and parallel parking a breeze.
