The car's engine, with its 16-cylinder W-like configuration with four turbochargers and 64 valves, is so visually stimulating that it is on display via a see-through panel. It is a key aspect to the vehicle's design. The glove box is designed to hold small travel accessories and a zipped Hermés wallet. The front trunk of the car also contains specially fitted leather accessories. This combined with the special door handles and matching colors used to blur the interior-exterior borders define what distinguishes the Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermés from other Veyron models. The "H" branded eight-spoke wheels adds the final touch.
The 11-syllable moniker that requires two breaths in order to say aloud is a tribute to Hermés' historical headquarters on the rue du Faubourg, thus, the "Fbg." The price of this stupendous supercar, as reported by the makers, is €1.55 million, which, in the U.S. would be more than $2.4 million, depending upon exchange rates.
