Art In Motion: Assembly Not Included!

Luxury Motorcycles: Art In Motion, a custom-shop for bikes that specializes in reworking and customizing Harley Davidsons has a message for clients seeking to build their dream bike: "Build it yourself." It is not intended to sound like the worst customer service response ever proffered. It actually is an invitation to actively participate in designing and building your Harley dream bike.

With rapt focus and curiosity, the crew at the Central Florida-based venue assists in bringing the design of the client's fantasy bike into focus, but the buyer, a.k.a. "Easy Check Writer," truly is the ultimate designer of the finished product.

Art In Motion builds a complete mock up of the bike from the customer's specifications. When the mock up is finished, the buyer/designer comes to the shop to assemble their masterpiece. The estimated time frame of this creative-mechanical endeavor from start to finish is around three months.

2008 Fireball Run 2

Kudos to Art In Motion for its upcoming participation in the 2008 Fireball Run 2, which takes place September 25 to October 4. The event supports the indefatigable efforts of the Child Rescue Network. The 3,500-mile transcontinental road rally begins in Baton Rouge, La., and ends in Grand Rapids, Mich. Each team's vehicle in this event bears a large image of a missing child. The mission of the race is for the teams to put up as many recovery posters of their missing child as possible from start to finish. The shop's entry is the V-twin Tuk Tuk Trike. It is the first trike to be entered in the Fireball Run series.

The 2007 Fireball Run was a revving success with more than 50,000 posters hung in seven cities. For more details on the Fireball Run 2, visit www.fireball.com
